Lucjan Stanislaw Wyrwicz  

Lucjan Stanislaw Wyrwicz graduated medicine in 2004 at Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin. Conducting research in bioinformatics from 2001. Obtained PhD in 2007 and DSc in medicine in 2009. From 2006 is hired in M. Sklodowska-Curie Memorial Cancer Center in Warsaw, where he leads the Laboratory of Bioinformatics and Systems Biology and posses a clinical appointment in Department of Gastrointestinal Cancer. Author and coauthor of 51 research articles on bioinformatics, molecular biology and oncology. Research interest includes homology modeling of proteins, translation studies in oncology, bioinformatics in analysis of high-throughput experiments in oncology and utility of biomarkers in selection of treatment strategies in colorectal cancer.
